Clients: Virtual SYSCOM (NAVSEA, NAVAIR, NAVSUP, SPAWAR, Strategic Systems Program (SSP), NAVFAC), Commander, Naval Installations (CNI)
A core belief of TARVOS Systems is that CMMI and IEEE/EIA 12207 compliant processes minimize risk, improve quality, and contribute to cost efficiencies by defining processes that contribute to repeatable, and measurable results in the design, documentation, and maintenance of a system. TARVOS Systems uses COTS tools to support, implement, and automate these processes across the entire life cycle of a system from inception to retirement and to provide traceability from requirements to implementation. We also have in depth experience developing, documenting, and training engineering and enterprise processes conformant to CMMI level 3 in the requirements analysis, project management, and engineering process areas. We believe this is a strength that allows us to better serve our customers by providing quality services at minimized risk and lower cost. As part of TARVOS Systems' commitment to provide CMMI level 3 and IEEE 12207 conformant processes to support the design, implementation, and maintenance for systems we develop for the Navy, we have defined and implemented Configuration Management procedures to track and version control the source code and document artifacts we produce and maintain. We install and employ various tools such as Visual Source Safe and CVS to version control the project artifacts. Each TARVOS employee has the expertise to define and employ Configuration Management procedures to safeguard the investment of the Navy in the project artifacts.
